"From a single vineyard in Dixons Creek, matured for nine months in French oak (40% new). Brightly coloured, this is immediately appealing and perfumed with aromas of ripe apricots, honeysuckle and just a whiff of fresh vanilla bean from the oak, which is already nicely integrated. There's good volume and vibrancy on the palate, a fine vein of acidity running through the wine before finishing chalky and long."  - Phillip Rich

" From a single site in Yarra Junction; 100% whole-berry fermentation and matured for nine months in French oak (40% new). Bright cherry red. A young wine that needs a few good swirls to reveal a complex amalgam of crushed strawberries, raspberry coulis, bay leaf and rose petals. The palate is medium bodied, mouth-filling and opulent, with supple, very persistent tannins on the long, satisfying finish. One to cellar for at least the next five to seven years."

"A single-vineyard wine made from 34-year-old vines grown at Dixon's Creek. Fermented for 12 days and left on skins for another 30. Matured in French barriques (50% new) for 22 months. A deep-ish ruby garnet. Classic cool-climate cabernet with aromas of pure blackcurrant fruit, gentle cedar notes, freshly crushed black pepper and jasmine. Medium-bodied and impeccably balanced, ultrafine and persistent tannins make this approachable now, with the promise of more to come over the next decade." - Phillip Rich

"Hand-picked in one batch from a Darwinian 20rows, in Dixon's Creek. A 12 day ferment, followed by an additional 30 days in vat, with lid closed. Then, French wood for 22 months. An ambitious approach. And judging by the quality of curranty fruit and tannic astringency -typically Yarra green bean - a good one. Judged. Poised. Plenty in store. Mid-weighted and beautifully savoury, if not angular now. I would hold this with great optimism." - Ned Goodwin MW
