Rose is internationally loved as the ultimate summer tipple. The famous colour comes from juicing red grapes and soaking them with the skins for a very short period to develop a nice pinky hue! Mandala likes to give an extra bit of time to develop into a luscious pink colour, then ferment in stainless steel as well as oak to give it a nice weight, fruity sweetness and the 'bone dry' element drinkers love.
Winemaking Notes
Crafted entirely from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Upper Yarra Valley, this wine begins with meticulously hand-harvested fruit, gathered in the cool of the morning to preserve freshness. The grapes were whole-bunch pressed, and the free-run juice, along with light pressings, underwent temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel. Following fermentation, the wine was matured in seasoned French oak barrels, with monthly sur lie (lees stirring) to enhance its complexity and texture.

Pale pink in hue, our Rosé is crafted from 100% Pinot Noir, offering delicate berry aromas complemented by subtle notes of savoury potpourri. The palate is driven by vibrant primary fruit and a refreshing acidity, showcasing the elegance of this variety in Rosé form. Fine and graceful, it also possesses a structured depth that adds a layer of refined complexity.
