This is a wonderful expression of cool climate Shiraz with fine bony tannins and well-weighted oak, where it spent 18 months with 40% new French. The palate has an effortless feel about it as it extends to a long, focused finish. Vanessa enjoyed her heavy red wines, especially a good Cabernet Sauvignon\u003cem\u003e.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"lead short\"\u003eRich scents of cassis, cigar box and black olive with a balanced blueberry and black fruit profile on palate. Red currant and cherry fruit also quite pronounced.
